Sanctuary

I feel your currents pull me

they feel so strong so steady unlike your mind that is so undeciding

I feel it calling me to shore

the uninhibited land that only seems to exist in my wildest dreams

It is there I look for sanctuary

it is there I look for calmness to override my tired aching body drenched in water for what seems like a lifetime.

I let you pull me in

feeling each wave with new energy

Just hoping that the current stays on track

that somehow my feet will finally touch warm sand
