As if you're always never there..

As if you're always never there..

A Poem by oldsoul78

Your bittersweet presence revolves around my longing fingers

my lost motivation seeks to find your lingering eyes of approval

Weakness enters my mind with each moment I live for you

the worst part is, love, that in those moments I fuel hope

For my greatest pleasure is seeing you overbrimmed with happiness

But hope is made for the blind lead by emotion

and my blindfold reeks of your sweetest skin

It is tied by your strong careful hands

is it held by your distinct careless voice

Eagerness courses through my restrained body

while your soft touch seems to fade away

Away from me,

away from us,

away from this
