You, with that subtle perfect look

your subtle perfect being

that seems to blend so well with mine


You're not what I want you to be

you're not what I've so long fought for


All the shiny armor has rusted

I see through the brick wall now turned to glass


Yet, you, are perfect in imperfection

your carefree makes me want to be less careful


But the truth is, you're not for me

if you were, then I would be me

This is beautiful.

In a wonderful way, I find the last line puzzling; I imagine that's how the speaker feels.
