God's Blanket

God's Blanket

A Poem by Denise
"

I love all the seasons including winter, just showing my love for an unappreciated natural force.

"
White, Wet, Dusty
Soft as an angel's kiss
Powerful as an angry god

Fresh, Sparkling, Clean
Inspiring peaceful bliss
Wreaking havoc on landscapes flawed

Icy, Smooth, Cold
Beautiful as a fairytale
Destructive as a nightmare

Pure, Thick, Blanket
New beginnings set sail
Old endings apart it will tear

If you read closely there is rhyme and rhythm... kiss and bliss, god and flawed, fairytale and sail, nightmare and tear...I did it that on purpose just because I liked it. But thank you for enjoying i :)

even though it doesn't rhyme your choice of words blend right in.
Great job, well done.
