'SENA'

'SENA'

A Poem by demvester4deworld

The poem compares nature to the persona's beautiful African beloved who was absent at the moment when the persona was nearly carried away by the fascinating sight of nature.

"

‘I SPEAK OF SENA ‘

I wondered and wandered around the great wall

The walls looked at me in great fear of a war

I walked in the morning dew across a dozen of dandillons.

Beholding the beauty of the sunflowers on that sunny day,

I looked up on the baobab tree and saw the birds flattering

their wings in happiness.

I listened up and heard the male canary birds chorally

Chirping in a rather harmonious sound.

But then, I tried so hard not to be carried away by the awesome

Sight of these creatures,

Because I knew Sena was just a few miles away,

I knew Sena’s angelic voice is more soothening, melodious and soporific

than all the sounds of the birds in the air put together.

I knew Sena’s smile with her dimples has the innate propensity to

make a dead body smile back,

I knew Sena’s long hair could create a more beautiful scene than

the feathers of all peacocks put together,

I knew Sena can be more fascinating than that.

So finally I met Sena and all the memories of the creatures vanished

Because Sena is an epitome of beauty, honor, flagrance and happiness.
