The Iris of Longing

The Iris of Longing

A Poem by demureminds

I caught the glimpse

of wistful eyes

in passion,

the iris of longing,

anticipating

the lick of

embrace in arms

of splendor,

grasping hips

of ardor’s cradle,

his pupils

echoing me.

his pupils echoing me....

loved that

a wishful gaze locked in speechless sound..

I love the iris of longing and lick of embrace, but this is an amazing little burst of imagery throughout :)
