Aced Days & Decades

Aced Days & Decades

A Poem by demureminds

Kaleidoscope eyes the rarest,

colors exasperating explosions,

incrementing to each corner

of me,

I think I’ve found

love at first sight,

(cliched a couple times)

but only for for a minute,

60 seconds,

a glimpse,

traveling through the years

pieced in the patterns of irises

and expanding pupils,

elevating percussion

inside me,

but if that can conceive

aced days,

then what about a few decades?

I enjoyed the poem. The description made me think and you create some good visions.
"traveling through the years
pieced in the patterns of irises
and expanding pupils,"
I like poetry that end with a question. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Thank you, glad you liked it!
Connections between kaleidoscopes and windows to the soul; not a concept I've seen in the year I have hung about on this sight. Nonetheless, clever, amazing, original, and by far something that should be read in place of all these teenage ranting (though, in my humblest opinion, have you started off with a strained idea once again? Hehe).

Perhaps you should have re-positioned and placed the middle int he beginning?
My pleasure~
