Two Solitaires

Two Solitaires

A Poem by demureminds

Intimately composed
of souls
that licked
the concrete,
a couple,
a pair
too subtle,
too rare,
they share the air
they breathe it
in.

The two
no longer two solitaires.

The moment that two introverts meet is often full of joy for the both of them. Well done.

Thanks
A lot of mystery in a short piece...I read it a few times and I think it can go any number of ways in terms of meaning...the rhymes are worked in nicely too :)

Haha there's nothing wrong with that, not in the way I define poetry anyway :)
