Eons Ago

Eons Ago

A Poem by demureminds

Our memories

came tumbling

like tumbleweed,

crisp atoms causing it’s flight

towards me.

Our heat waves,

and hazy days

spent like

pennies

in a well,

and

I trapezed

from then to now

so rapidly,

I forgot

how it felt.

Now,

your smile curves

slightly

forcing it out with

heavy

viscosity,

but eons ago,

it used to

be real

easy.

Thank you!
Strained smiles are the worst kind of pain. Well done.
