They Came as Fine Particulates

They Came as Fine Particulates

A Poem by demureminds

I watched her

crumble

and I

stumbled

upon

a pile of

dust

diminishing

as dusk

hit.

Ten minutes,

not long

enough,

her fine

pixels

scooped

up

with

his.
