They Came as Fine Particulates
A Poem by demureminds
I watched her
crumble
and I
stumbled
upon
a pile of
dust
diminishing
as dusk
hit.
Ten minutes,
not long
enough,
her fine
pixels
scooped
up
with
his.

It is basically about a girl who loses herself and begins to slowly depreciate, using "crumble" symbolically. And the the ending is merely about a boy who in a sense is similar to herself and they ultimately find comfort in each other, thus finding themselves. The "ten minutes, not long enough" part is the idea that things happen when you least expect them to, along with the belief of everything happens for a reason. I hope that helps!
