Sightless

Sightless

A Poem by Yve
"

A reply to my friend's poetry

"
Tell me
the stories you tell your diary
because I can't read but the cover
of a book still in its wrapper.

Tell me
what goes in that beautiful mind
because i can't dive any further.
I drown in the depth of those hazel eyes.

Tell me
what does it take
to break your walls down?
Because I can't love you from here.

I can't love
just a stranger.

~jlg (my friend's poetry)

I did tell you,
the stories behind the cover.
But you are not a fan of poetries,
so you think it is just me being sad.

I did tell you,
what's going on.
But you are too busy to listen,
too preoccupied to care.

I did let you,
break down my Great Wall of China.
Only to build it again,
because i dont want a love like you anymore.

I dont want to love
a blind man again.
