In the void

Curled up in the void I found you. Your angelic light was dim, but so beautiful. I tried to sing to you in the darkness, to let my voice pierce the void. For a time you unfurled, you graced me with your light. All things come to an end, I danced the fools tune to my pain, my fear, my grief. In the end don’t know if I pushed you away, or you fell back into the void. Still every day I sing into the nothingness, hoping one day your light will shine.
