Fade Away

I know my words won't reach you but I'll continue to scream into the void of your pain. I scream till my voice becomes hoarse from the coarse words of love meeting pain and grating against it like sandpaper. As the pain begins to meet the grain my bits and pieces fall away slowly into your empty void. I hope one day as I grind myself up into bits of nothing this nothing will grow until your void is filled. I won't be around anymore and all the fragments I left behind will be all that's left. But i'll be happy knowing that void is filled and you'll find love in another's arms because your pain is filled with my broken pieces and I'll find joy in knowing my broken pieces could do something for you when my whole love failed to carry you out of the dark. And as I drift away into the cold nothingness of an abyss I missed when I found love through you I'll have come home again. In that home I'll fade away. I'll fade away.
