Pursuit of DeathA Poem by dementedrealityI crave the great unknown that is death From moment to moment I as I create myself pass away into oblivion In that oblivion I find that I am still aware In the nothing that ensues I am still aware Still I wonder when death will come for me As I wait with my arms stretched out Ready to embrace the unknown change that provokes my curiosity One day Death will come to give me a loving embrace So I wait with my arms wide open Curious and desireful I await Death's company I am patiently living and embracing life as my lover My thoughts stray to the embrace of death I will not leave my lover Instead I will wait for Life to leave me So I may embrace Death © 2019 dementedrealityReviews
