Shifter

A Poem by dementedreality

A woman, yet a man
When I look upon her my vision squirms
My mind confuses the Masculine and the Feminine as they contort and shift back and forth
How can someone feel like a man and a woman both at once
Her gender is clear for me to see by the breasts she was blessed with
So why is it that when I look upon her I feel the masculine and feminine shifting as yin and yang
Can it be that one can hold a liminal space for masculinity and femininity
I wish to learn, to take on the feminine space without losing the masculine
And so I journey for a duality of being free from artificial separation through gender differentiation
Letting go of a the dominating contexts perpetuated by our society
I seek out the middle path
I seek liberation from manhood and womanhood
A completion of energies feeling both man and woman
The artificial divide comes crashing down
Suddenly I am free
