A birthday giftA Poem by Aidan CooneyJust putting it on here to save it.
From the moment I laid eyes on you, So many years ago, You have filled me with a boyish crush, And desire began to flow. Portrait of Qetesh, Unable to avert them from your presence, A constant craving for your flesh. And so it went that we met again, I courted you and you accepted, And so ‘our’ days began. Spontaneous twists and turns, So much love given and received, So much pain the heart burns. Every day to be by your side, From f*****g you with all my passion, To comforting you when you cried. Our understanding on a different plain, Now that you have gone away from me, Every day a little more insane. It’s been so hard to just be your friend, You plead with me that you want it so, Still Id do most anything to be with you again. You have been a big part of my life, Even for only being in it for so little, Still able to spawn dreams of you as my wife. And you have started over again, A new place with new people, A chance for a better life to begin. Some tips to help you get through, Be strong and learn to love yourself, Think about everything you do. There are so many you have touched, Remember me and feel comforted, That I will always love you very much. © 2008 Aidan Cooney |
