A Regurgitation of YouA Poem by Aidan CooneyPretty much sums itself up...Current events have reminded me once again of you, your vague image resurfaces in my mind, so many years spent in eachothers arms, I had packed you away but emotions still run blind.
I remember your laugh now. Running my fingers through your beautiful blonde hair, massaging your back while looking at your moon, Mesmerized by your deep peircing stare.
I remember our last conversation, agreeing to finally grow up and move on, I remember your tears the morning I left, It still kills me after so long.
You were my beginning, My start at finding another emotion aside from hate, You helped me realize how much I am deserving of love, Your actions after I left are the only things I contemplate.
You were also the first to crush my dark fragile heart, A great friendship ruined by moving too fast, Three days only until giving into 'Someone you weren't interested in', Taking me for the first time from, 'I love you' to 'Kiss my a*s.'
Thinking about you now and knowing you're still with him, it doesn't affect me at all like it had. Forced back into my mind through recent loss, This will help kick you back out, so as not to get sad.
