this was a song sang by the troops in the united states army in ww1 when black jack pershing heard it he screamed thats treason! In truth the war had gone on so long and horribly that if the leadsers hadnt found a way to make peace the people were ready to do so through revolution as the russian had the yr before

From the infantry's perspective (at least in Europe where the front stalled) WWI was arguably the most horrific war ever fought. The 1918 influenza epidemic that killed millions of people throughout Europe and the US rose out of those horrible, killing trenches. WWI's legacy (besides WWII) is the present boarder situation in the middle east. The British Empire gave no thought to the ethnic rivalries in the region when they carved it up and it's been a problem ever since.

You are right the end of the ottoman empire after ww1 led to the winners diving up the middle east and why they put isreal in the middle will never make sense to me

heartbreaking...but can't the homeless just search for a police station, homeless shelter, community center, orphanage, etc. (aka any place that helps the underprivileged) if they have no home? that's what i would try to do at one point or another if i had no place

In America being homeless is a crime. At least it's treated as if it is.

In most cities, there is a long waiting list to get in to a homeless shelter. It is a much bigger problem than many people imagine. The police aren't going to help. A person needs to ask at Social Services, United Way, or a church.

they just have expiring date as food or something and that is really bad thing, since those are forgotten after they end their missions, even if they died, they will be forgotten.. what a life !!!!!!
