HAMAS

HAMAS

A Poem by Baby Ricochet
"

We hold Israel to a civilized standard because HAMAS has no civilized standards.

"

"Israel will exist and will continue to exist  until Islam will obliterate it,
just as it obliterated others before it."
Preamble to the covenant of HAMAS.

HAMAS:
Loud speakers on the minarets
The vengeful words they say
Death to the prophet's enemies
so Allah will be praised

Distorted ideologies
cast death a sallow eye
The faithful pray for martyrdom
beneath a crimson sky

Homicides by suicide
pack C4 in a vest
Prophets prescribe Zionists die
a vengeful god is blessed

Rockets fire from crowded houses
Positioned with intent
Israeli rounds come crashing down
Civilian lives are spent

Cameras filming mangled corpses
A propaganda coup
Sick scenes of mass atrocities
What they were meant to do

With Israel's atrocities
paraded on a stage
the left turns co-conspirator
To militant outrage

The militants of Palestine
Fanatic Lunatics
You are the peoples enemy
A pack of Heretics

A scourge upon the holy land
A warrior perverse
Humanities catastrophe
a genocidal curse

"The day of judgement will not come about
until Muslims fight Jews and kill them. Then
the Jews will hide behind rocks and trees,
then the rocks and trees will cry out,
Oh Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me,
Come and kill him."
Article 7 from the covenant of HAMAS.
    Taken straight from the Koran

Author's Note

Baby Ricochet
Nazi anti Semitic propaganda poster. In the Arabic world holocaust denial is a common core belief and it's assumed everything that goes wrong is an Israeli plot to undermine the Arab world. The media is to busy focusing on the corpses piling up in Gaza (Israel should be held accountable for it's heavy handedness.) to report on the Arabic world's rabid anti-Semitism. The main reason they won't report on it is because it wouldn't be PC by casting the Arabic/ Muslim world in an unfavorable light IE "racist," the ultimate offence in our culture. There's no doubt Israel has committed crimes in the occupation and subjugation of the Palestinian people and Israel should be held accountable for those crimes but we need to remember what Israel is fighting against. Despite what some extremists may say in the media Israel has not, and never has had, a document calling for the eradication of the Arabic people. With extremist groups all across the middle east with funding from Iran, Saudi Arabia and other oil rich nations hell bent on destroying Israel, the same can not be said for the Arab world. This is a complex, difficult story. With all the dead children coming out of Gaza it's impossible for any civilized human being not to be horrified and look to Israel for some kind of restraint with the reason being, the world knows we can't look to HAMAS for anything but more bloodshed. Israel's the only hope for stability in the region.

I have read your poem, and I have read these other reviews, and I am thoroughly confused. I totally respect people of all faiths, and I wish that peace were possible, but it is not. People were created with a built in survival instinct, and it will keep them fighting.

hAMAS Had best get with the program they are as they always have been ostracized for their barbaric medieval use of women and children for their ends. Let the men fight the wars not the children

Without getting into the facts of the message of this poem, i'll say this was an excellent write. If you had a news segment i'd read/watch it.

Thank you Keegan. It's good to hear from you.
The foundations for war and hate were laid a long long time ago. Yes, it is a very confusing topic and unfortunately there will probably never be peace between Palestine and Israel in my lifetime. When children are put in the line of fire as propaganda tools it is clear we are talking about are barbarians.

Sad yet well stated. Thank you Relic
the lost countlessly swept away
in their memory do we give up the say here-say their-say
I-say you-say what is it we all really-say
such a reverberation of the sides
to search a common front on which to educate and bring resolution
well my friend you have more passion than could be mustered by myself as such not by choice quite the opposite as such by situation where I stay in a volatile mirred haze with draconian opposition even usurping structural dichotomy
to any inquisition to any ends i seek no matter how plainly simple even meek.
Searching for a question to which i seek to feedback on time can these words which seemed to come from such a great big heart can it fill the gap to which i seek what would act with action suited to such words of great integrity well i presume too little.
Speak Warrior of the heart.

Comments on the quality of this poem will be overshadowed by its message. It really is a first rate write. And again, I applaud you, for speaking out on this issue. I pray for Palestine's answer to Martin Luther King and an Israeli Gandhi. But I do have to admit … I have really had it with the xenophobes of the world … I think to myself … who do they think they are fooling … the answer … far too many.

That's for sure. Thanks Pryde
The whole situation is sad, terrifying, frustrating... How can any of it be in the name of a loving God? A brave and timely piece...

The only creation with God's soul breathed into it is the human being, thats why angels were asked to bow before Adam. But when this man falls prey to his desires and lets his Ego go astray, he becomes lower than the lowliest of all creatures and the connection between the creation(man) and the Creator(God) is lost... Mankind has been led astray but for a few.

It's all so convoluted, can't say much more than what's already been said here, the atrocities carried out in the name of religion and/or power and land against any people blows my mind. I don't think there are any answers unfortunately...

There's plenty of blame for everyone and no real solutions. Human tragedy of the worst kind. Thanks .. read more
Again, it truly is an extremely complicated question when one side does severely morally questionable actions in name of safety (illusion or no) while the other side dedicates and has dedicated years and years' worth of antisemitism and actual attempts to eradicate its the population they deem unworthy of existence. I doubt there is anything "right" to do besides try and keep them from ripping each other apart, because every little action affects the lives of many. Well done. I appreciate your educating your readers.

Thanks for reading Tai. I appreciate it.
You hit the nail on the head of the dilemma for sure with this piece. I always understood you were not calling for eradication or punishment of Jews, but for Israel to call an end to the crimes against civilians in the name of protecting themselves. It is a complicated question, for sure and one with no easy answer, when one side has military power, and the other side is hell bent on destroying the one with all the military clout.
