The west needs to hold Israel accountable and expect better from the Jewish people

If ever there were a people 

who new what suffering was 

If ever genocide was visited

upon a homeless nation 

If ever a people knew 

really KNEW 

what being a victim was 

If ever a people knew 

We should expect better

Better than artillery rounds 

dropped on children's hospitals 

Better than "militants" as an excuse

Better than the propaganda 

    in the western press

Better than the brutal occupation 

they've forced upon their victims 

Better than a totalitarian land grab

in the name of "settlements" 

Better than 1000's of dead bodies 

in the name of security

Israel 

You have fallen for 

the power 

of the bomb

You could teach the world better 

Show us the humanity 

 history taught your soul 

Show the world restraint 

from the insanity 

Your people suffered 

for so long

Israel 

The civilized world

waits for your answer

If all you know about the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian people is what you here in the American press, your picture is horribly distorted by what the US government wants you to believe about "terrorism" and US, Israeli foreign policy. Israel has a right to exist, so do the Palestinians. Israel could teach the world humanity rather than the lesson of the gun Israel has decided. Stop blaming the Palestinians and really look at the situation. Israel has to make a move towards humanity, even if HAMAS doesn't follow. The Jewish people's history demands it.

This really is not a place for war or politics and I have only one heart and that is Israel. Israel is not backing down. They have lost their land,(Their Land X Infinity Their Land) their people and rights once and they are not doing it again. No one else has a right to Israel except them. If they don't want the Palestinians and Gaza there they should leave.

The Palestinians were there long before the Zionists showed up. Presently it makes little difference who got there first because it's irrelevant now. Israel is there to stay and they have to do something about the Palestinian problem. Dropping bombs on children in the name of security is definitely the wrong answer. Yahweh isn't going to intervene any more than Allah is nor is Jesus going to come out of the sky over Gaza and turn everyone Christian. The only thing coming out of the sky over Gaza is Israeli artillery shells. One doesn't have to be on the side of HAMAS or approve of the Israeli Government military strategy, which is obviously a war of attrition on civilians, to realize the indiscriminate slaughter of of the Palestinian people is a immoral atrocity. Israel isn't waging war the way they are to hit rockets. They're doing it in an effort to break the Palestinian's will and to turn them against one another in the hope that Palestinians will start naming names within HAMAS. Israel is a very powerful nation with the most powerful military in the middle east and they are capable of intelligent restraint, something HAMAS isn't willing to do so it's up to Israel to lead the way to piece in the region. HAMAS will never take a lead in the piece process and the Palestinian people have their necks on the chopping block so they can't either. It's up to Israel to get the ball rolling and I think they can.

Israel was never Palestinians Land they took over Israel little by little. Have you ever read the bible all %90 of the wars were called and even fought by God just so Isreal could have the Land,his laws and a place of worship. The Palestinies confiscated it little by little. dropping bombs on children as everone keeps saying I am sure hamas has done the same. I don't know what Israel strategy is but to the rest of the world it dosen't look good. I do know that Yahweh is on Isreal side of the War as he always has been. They have to occupy the Land before Jesus comes back and it is happening now. From what I understand It is all in prophecy. If Isreal is capable of intelligent restraints I hope they start using them. I hope they break the Palestinian will too and Hamas.

I don't suppose the Zionist movement, British colonization of the middle east, the Balfour declaration, the Nazis, the holocaust, the urgency of the need of a Jewish state, the partition of Palestine, all the wars Israel has had to fight to survive since 1948 or the deterioration of the Palestinian situation over the past 50 years. The bible is no place to draw modern history from because there's no modern history in it. Doing so just makes you look like a fool.
