Hard Drive Roach

Is this a thing? Yeah, It's a thing.

My hard drive's full of roaches 

I took it all apart 

They scampered all directions 

They like it in the dark 

They swarmed all over my ideas 

My giant writer's block 

It was delivered COD

They're never out of stock 

Once my words flowed like a river

A monsoon of free thought 

A drought has passed across my page

and stalled my Juggernaut 

It's all because of global warming 

My words all blew away

Roaches ran into my mind

and now they're here to stay

My hard drive's full of roaches

They ate it through and through 

They rearranged my circuit boards 

and left a bad review

Ha..I've got nothing until those roaches leave. When I lived in an inner city apartment I knew what the light would bring. Now I live it metaphorically. ; )

This is a great poem! Yes it is hard to get rid of those roaches once they come in. There is a lot of imagery in this poem that paint a good picture. Once my words flowed like a river... Nice!
