Other than seeing my buddies maimed and killed nothing got to me like the kids did. 

The girl at the end of the video really does express what many of them were like. Dead inside from the horror they were enduring. After awhile I learned to shut them out. If you didn't it could compromise your ability to function effectively as part of the squad and that could get marines killed. I was successful with that in the field but when I came home the kids came with me. Along with some other heavy s**t I seriously wish stayed back there. Thanks for watching and reading. It really means a lot to me to get this out.

These are the faces very few see. The children and the innocent victims of war are the highest casualties. They did not ask to be there. This is a great video, I can only hope that more people see this one. I think it should be part of the pre mobilization for those going. Even more so I hope that enough of our leaders see this. Maybe then they would think twice about using war.

War tears apart not only the country in which war is being raged, but also the future generation of the survivors through the children who had to live through the entire mess, unequipped to deal with the harsh, horrendous reality of war. Poignant and serious subject, you've expressed a real problem in which the only true solution is to stop warring one another in general, something our species will probably not be capable of for years, if not decades or centuries or for the rest of humanity's reign as a species. You write and express yourself well, and it's truly saddening that this is something that actually happens. Keep speaking the truth, Baby R.
