Art or A*****e

Just screwing around with writers block

I wrote a poem 

It was a worthless piece of crap 

I still posted it 

F**k only knows why 

You people know I can't write

So it got reviews 

The people said they liked it 

Those people can't read 

I want to block everyone 

with two hundred friends

and everyone of them blocked 

It's an art statement 

or am I just an a*****e 

I can't tell which one 

Because being an a*****e

Is an art statement 

when you're a poet

Being an a*s hole is an art statement if you're a poet. Well, Yeah. Definitely. Another honest and wonderfully insightful write. It's insightful for the same reason it's honest. You just write whatever you feel like writing and I like that.

I believe whether it is a statement of art or being an a*****e depends solely on how famous you are: I'm sure Bukowski fans would ask themselves that as well, whether he actually had a talent or was just an a*****e. The fans take it as an art statement as well, despite having a low opinion of the action . . . Again, you've expressed yourself well, well done

I've read one Bukowski book. He was either shitfaced or getting fired from jobs for being s**t faced through the whole thing. It was easy enough to read though so I guess he was a decent writer. Christ Hemingway was plastered throughout his entire career and he's one of the greats.

Hemingway is wondrous, especially his six word story (that sent shivers, ooh); I've read three Bukowski books so far as well as one collection of poetry, his poetry is outstanding, if I do say so myself. I mean, "our educational system tells us we can all be big-a*s winners, but it hasn't told us about the gutters or the suicides, or the terror of one person, aching in one place, alone, untouched, unspoken to, watering a plant," was quite amazing, if I do say so myself.
