Inspired by Comments made by Sam Dickens and Sue Hart on my poem "Over The Crimson Sky" My generation of warrior came home heroes. Nam vets got spit on and called "baby burners." That was a travesty.
Indeed, it seems now, albeit in hindsight that delusions of "big men" playing chess with the lifes of millions just for control and then when it all comes to an end, these "pieces" are strewn in the back of a drawer, left to rot without acknowledgement or portrayal, a telling piece that ways heavy on the heart BR.

That's about the most beautifully written review I've ever gotten. Thank you Thomas
Vietnam veterans were given the worst and the United States isn't doing anything productive by pretending they don't exist. That is the absolute worst thing you could do: send them off to fight a war and have them return as people who cannot get anything done any longer because of their history. I recently read an article that said many of the aforementioned veterans are homeless as well.
You've penned this tribute well, it brings awareness. well done.
this poem so needs to be read now, but even moreso, it was needed back then.
i hated that war, protested it, was so against it...but not those who served, they were merely doing what they had to do...not much choice back then with the draft and all...and many of the protestors went way too far.
