It's a fish that can give you and your tackle a real run for your money if you hook one over ten pounds. Even the smaller ones can kick your a*s if your rod is to light. They go for live bait and spoons, anything shiny. They taste good too

Well that sucks. I live on the west coast of Florida about 2 miles from the beach. The fishing around here is excellent
