Crows are supposedly harbingers or omens of bad things so perhaps getting rid of it brought you good luck! On the other hand Poor little crow. I guess every action has an opposite and equal reaction you just never know. I have to admit I do not like it when the birds wake me up early when the days get longer.

Oh that just freakin' freaks me out! The exact thing happened to me today, I did shoot it, but with a camera, I got his picture, I'm going to post it. Then I'm calling in the white coats, he was not cawing at me though it was more of a strange cooing /warbling sound i've never heard a crow make before, like he was trying to tell me something, I threw almonds, and grapes at him but he didn't want my food, he just wanted some conversation. So weird, this place messes with my head big time.
