I never came "home"
That place is gone
Because I changed
Because home changed
There's no going back
That woman is gone
That family is gone
That life is gone
I have a different "home"
Different woman
Different family
Different life
I'm finally "home"
With her
May we all find "home"
You've certainly portrayed the difference that active combat can make in a soldier's life upon returning, the changes that are difficult, if not impossible, to undo, and the drastic difference in life altogether. It's truly a sorrowing situation that nobody should ever have to experience, but unfortunately must, according to society nowadays (or rather, politicians?). Well done.
Well say what ,people change and analyzing it does'nt always fix it.You drift apart aparently abscence does'nt always make the heart grow fonder,Merry Christmas Baby:)
I write just for the hell of it
A way to spend some time
Blurting out in cyber space
Whatever's on my mind
Maybe funny maybe tragic
Emotional and raw
Politi.. more..
