Some say there's a war on Christmas 

and liberals are at fault

They want to take baby Jesus

and lock him in a vault

Kick virgin Mary to the curb

Stuff Joseph in a box

The wise men they are outa here 

A Christmas of hard knocks

Fox news points accusing fingers

at the liberal elite

Those evil commie atheists

who ruined Santa's treat

Obama is their Muslim stooge

He's working for the Jews 

who want Menorahs everywhere 

So Christians get confused

So no one knows the difference

from secular or saint

So It all just blends together

In one big non-restraint 

Christmas is a time of excess

Capitalism's dream 

With retail madness everywhere 

Sometimes it seems obscene 

An economic holiday

tied to recovery

of a bank lending disaster 

Epic catastrophe 

We pay for Christmas all year round

and as the years go by

we're sucked into a system 

In debt until we die

The war on Christmas is a farce

Stores will do anything

To get you to plop money down

So registers will ring 

Wal Mart's decked with Christian symbols

The Christmas music blares

The place is full of Christian themes 

and I don't bloody care

Like anyone who has a brain 

I can smell crapola

from conservative malarkey 

Political payola

Make an issue out of nothing 

Stir up the stupid hordes

Who's xenophobic fear of change

make ballot box rewards 

Whatever Christmas means to you 

The choice is yours to make 

The birth of someone's Savior

or retail on the make 

The choice is strictly personal 

So knock off all this crap

nothing...we lost the spirit of christmas many moons ago...

and like you said...all it means now is commercialism, materialism and added debt.
