Love her or hate her there's no arguing Madonna broke ground. As a woman with a sexuality, as an artist, as a musician. Madonna ripped it up. She is the queen, hands down

She was a trend setter most assuredly- and let's not forget the controversy over Like A Prayer...she pissed off the Pope. I do believe she had true talent in the ability to reinvent herself in new and totally brilliant ways. Yeah, I know she's a b***h and filled with herself but she was something to watch. You never knew what was coming next- she was the consummate showman and I liked a lot of her music. Gaga, to me, is more of a sideshow with meat dresses and eggs, I do think she's got some talent though. Miley, she's trying too hard and I don't think she's got the talent to back up her outrageousness. I could have cared less about the twerking, I learned a new word and she did not wear it well! That tongue though, that is enough to haunt dreams! But she did kill Hannah Montana deader than dead and licked away the ashes. I like this timeline poem you've created
