Sarin Dripping Skies

Sarin Dripping Skies

A Poem by Baby Ricochet
"

A nursery rhyme

"

         Sarin dripping skies
    Phosphoric clouds float by
   Choking lungs bleeding gums
     and blinding burning eyes
 Death sings her tortured melodies
       of genocidal tragedies
one last breath of sudden death
     and all the children die

Down in the comments I saw you compare this work with Ring Around The Rosies. I think that is a brilliant comparison. The poem uses the rhythm and style of a nursery rhyme coupled with ominous and dark lines. The effect is perfectly unsettling.

Keep it blunt and heartbreaking, keep to the truth. People need to know.

They do. Thanks Tai
Oh look another one we will be singing to our wee ones in the years to come. Why is it all the good nursery rhymes come from death?

For the safety of our dear readers, I can assure you it is not in our atmosphere today.
As for lethality, Rico is not just blowing smoke, poisonous or otherwise. At 500 times more powerful than cyanide, it is a devastating chemical warfare weapon, and YES it was used for this very evil thing.

In 1950, NATO (founded to protect Europe from the Soviets in 1948) adopted Sarin as a standard chemical weapon. Sick sick men used these, people !

This is one cry from the masses for the absolute and utter stupidity of war. Death surrounds it, engulfs it, and buries you in the ground with it, painfully, horribly, and in dying anguish. For a war none of us ever wanted.

Nothing good comes from war ─ except it's ending ...
