This is a reminder of a movie i watched that was full of injustice particularly this line:Conned us with their mortgage scams, this you have done so well. Good one
Haha that picture, priceless man, bahahaha
You explain the recession so well.. schools should hire you to guest lecture students and future business students. Mad cool write BR
It takes two to tango, Baby. (Just saying, it never would have happened if people making $250 a week didn't think they could get--and by "get" I mean think they were "OWED" a $500,000 house...) While your piece has a lot of merit, I think your ending line is disingenuous. If you're going to bash the Capitalists, bash them. To say the poor stupid b******s who got "suckered" into buying houses they couldn't afford got what they deserved, well...blame the educational system. Not Capitalists ;-)
Love you!

Our education system isn't the best. That's for sure. Thank you Kimmer
Another passionate and keen write. On a technical note, I am wondering about the tense change from the first two stanzas to the third. Perhaps you might choose to set in all in the past. You pull no punches most powerful of poets.
The proletariat has been trampled by the ruling class. It's a sad fact of our society. You've displayed this fact wonderfully and almost narratively told how it happened. Nicely done
"We got what we deserved". - that says it really. We aren't victims, it is possible for anyone with the gumption to make money.
It's too bad that our education system teaches us to be good little workers rather than finding our own path in this world. Things would be different, I think, if reading a balance sheet and running a business were as common a subject as English and Algebra. Nice work as always Mark. :)
I write just for the hell of it
A way to spend some time
Blurting out in cyber space
Whatever's on my mind
Maybe funny maybe tragic
Emotional and raw
Politi.. more..
