I wish the scars from your time would heal I know they wont.my grandfather was a marine went to Guadalcanal in ww2 He trained attack dogs and said they stayed awake when he was asleep and would wake him without a sound when the enemy was near.They saved him many times. He didnt talk about the war much only when my uncle went to Vietnam and my cousin then to the irag war in 1990 did he ever speak of it.But it haunted him night and day I think. I thank you for the service you rendered our country. I never went to war. I cannot speak tp that.but the brotherhood it creates is second to none in the reality it brings to those who have.

Very well said. This should be spread out across the world, because I don't think enough people realize or bother to stop and think about this very concept. So many have fought and so many have paid (some with their lives, and some with the lives of their loved ones). No matter your political views, this is a human issue, and compassion dictates that we stop and salute those brave people who are willing to stand up and fight for something! Well done!
