For someone I knew and everyone who thinks big, muscular and southern equals stupid and easily duped. Surprise b*****s!!
You never listened to a thing that I said All you saw me for was a big muscle head Or maybe my accent threw you off track You thought gray matter was something I lacked I knew what you wanted on that you were clear you were running on deception and fear Behind your lies was a devious mind I saw through you Every last time You were an image Well so am I You never stopped to wonder why I always seemed an impossible task To get on your side so you never asked I heard what you said I knew what you meant It was all bullshit You'll never repent You can fool some of the people But you'll never fool me You can fool some of the people But you'll never fool me
Preconceived stereotypical notions. Muscle heads don't read Nietzsche, people from the south are uneducated hicks, all New Yorkers are rude...it's always so much fun to prove Them wrong. I suspect you set this moron straight. Well done, Baby.

Most of it's just academic white boys playing games with words. One of my personal favorite books ever, The Great Gatspy. Really funny, great party scenes and I can read it cover to cover in one sitting. That's a great book right there

We all meet them, these self-obsessed, these unprincipled, empty people - but we move on when we become wise to their ways. They normally become pathetic lonely individuals when they run out of suckers. Well written, Mark. P.
Her loss, your gain...or...your loss, your gain. However you want to take it. very cool and your message came through loud and clear, albeit with a strange accent. :)>
Some people are so very easy to read, and are lead by the stereotypes they've allowed to be ingrained in their mind (or they're just plain shallow creatures) rather than getting to know someone for who they are and what they have to offer intellectually (and if physically is there too... well, that's a bonus).
Now, some of us ladies... if we manage to find the whole package we're just smitten beyond belief :)
BTW - Southern IS sexy... (what the hell was she thinking!?)
Nice penning!
wow! such rage implicated in one poem, you had that one shouting of anger!
remind me not to get on your dark side XD
great poem, i share such feelings, believe me
Anyone that would take you for a fool needs their head examined, so typical though, people still judge a book by it's cover, human nature I guess. Did you mean to repeat the last two lines? Not sure how that adds to your piece...or was that because 'she' never listened...
