Hand guns pop rifles crack

Hand guns pop rifles crack

A Poem by Baby Ricochet

hand guns pop and rifles crack
thats the sound they make
metal rounds rip the bodies
of the souls they take

bullets are dependable
they never let you down
if your aim is square and true
your target hits the ground

he was dead eye steady
26 people are dead
youve any idea what its like
to see a bullet destroy a head

if you're not horrified
somethings wrong with you
20 childeren to rheir graves
merry christmas mr scrooge

There's a compulsion at the end of sanity to break something beautiful.

Great quote br0! Thank you for the review
Not too bad for a smart phone, Ricochet. This event scarred America. This stuff shouldn't be happning! This the United States! What the f**k are we fighting other countries for when we cause enough damage to ourselves

I am horrified, though its a reality of everyday, that just makes it even worse. and for fifteen minutes you know how to capture someone's attention.

Thank you for the review.
no pretty imagery here, just cold, hard and brutal reality. Thank you.

Sometimes it just needs to be told the way it is, without all the softness and delicacy, like a slap in the face.

Thank you for the review Mr pax.
Well . . . Cold as may sound, too many people grieve for what they have no clue about. Only the blind would mourn losses like these (although, acknowledging them is absolutely wise), for moments such as these happen daily in some undeveloped countries. Not that I dare consider them unworthy of my time, but rather that people make a tremendous deal of it is a waste of my time.
Long rant short, to memorialize such a tragic event is wise; but to have it influence your mind and trigger mourning without a single thought of other massacres is inconsiderate, and feeble.

'Tis time to halt ranting and continue on with a review . . .
Well, to have this written in 15 minutes is truly talented. There were many aspects I'd like to point out; but the one line that shines brighter than others in this poem is the Scrooge reference ending this. It was brilliant, and clever.

Thanks for phoning it in...

Seriously, though, I don't know if kids/people understand what actual bullets can do...you make a valid point. If you know what those metal jackets look like when worn by human beings...well...that ain't such good fashion.

Thanks for the Baby fix...

Sure, thing kimmer. Thank you for the review.
I heard they all had multiple wounds. It's so horrible to think of a child destroyed in the way you describe. There's a special place in hell for that kid who did it.
