Until the Very End

Until the Very End

A Poem by Delta
"

I honestly don't like this, but people said I should get feedback on it. Fair enough I guess. I promise that I'm not normally this bad at writing.

"

I may not know your past,

And I may not understand,

But when I see you right there suffering,

I can’t help but lend a hand.

I know that you don’t care,

And I know that you hate life,

But you can’t stay there forever,

Sitting endlessly in strife.

I try to come and help you,

Over and over again,

But I know I can’t help you much,

For we are just two men.

Before you turn your back on me,

Before you walk away.

Before you go and hurt yourself,

Just listen to this, ok?

How does any of this help you,

How does any of this make sense?

How does any of this matter,

When you clearly have two friends.

How much do you think we hurt?

How much do you think we cry?

How much do you think we’ve been through,

All because you want to die.

You’re being plain unreasonable,

In fact, you’re being plain unfair.

You’re also being rude as well,

If you think we just don’t care.

Stop acting like a fool,

Stop keeping things repressed,

You know we’ll be there with you,

Until the very end.
