What lies beneath

What lies beneath

A Poem by work in progress

Behind the crystal clear blue eyes,

a deep threatening madness there lies.

The calmness that these eyes portray,

hiding the insanity does not betray.

The veil that hides unrest will part,

and eyes will pierce like ice to heart.

What monster lies beneath these eyes?

In human form it doth disguise.

The tale these eyes have seen untol',

looking to the depths of soul.
