Author's Note

Cheesy but true, and sadly so. One would think that a person should prefer themselves or couldn't live without food or water but for one to truly live they must have a friend who won't turn their back on them. So true, I'm lucky. It has been a little over one year since I met some of the best friends in my life. Sadly, one of them isn't happy. I want her to be happy because she means so much to me. At the root of this it sounds like I am looking out for her. I am ashamed because I feel so selfish. Trying to save her from thoughts because I couldn't possibly live without one of my best friends. I hope life gets better for her because I hate to see her like this but I will support her through thick and thin. I just hope she remembers that.

That's really sweet. I hope she gets better, too. She must be really glad that she has a friend like you. I think that she wants to get better, but she thinks she can't. After reading your "Author's Note", I can see that she means a lot to you, and ves versa. You really shouldn't feel ashamed or selfish; she wouldn't want you to. You couldn't have stopped the thoughts that reached her; don't get too down. Her life will get better, but I think she just doesn't want to admit it to herself that it will. Saying that you stick together, I think of me and my friend; we are like glue, or a little girl with icecream. I know, icecream, weird, but I really want some and there's some in my freezer. Point is, it reminds me of my friend and I. She listens, because she doesn't want to loose you, too, it seems. Even though this is "cheesy", it's deep. I truly love this. 100/100

One must write when they have inspiration, my friend gives me the hope that my dreams can come true. She will because I'm going to help her. So is another one of our friends. She does mean a lot to me. More than anyone could ever know. Ice cream is the perfect analogy in this case because our favorite people in the "world" that we look up to love ice cream. Ice cream is yummy, I had some today from TCBY. Thanks. :)

I get the feeling here. We do need our friends at times. I think IRL one should be careful not to say we can not live without or would die if...
We create truth with our words. Be careful what you create. You may one day loose a friend, a child, a lover, a father or mother.

I don't say that I would die without her, I say that I can't possibly think of what my life would be like without her in it. That is completely different in my sense. I have already lost so many people, trust me...I know about loss. Thanks for looking out for me!

Awwww...shucks...and I never knew you cared! Oh, I see...this wasn't for ME ? Okay, I see how it is...and I was about to leave you a big hug too. Aww what the heck..BIG HUG anyway. This was great. It's always good to tell those you love that you love them. I used to tell my best friend I loved him all the time. Now he is dead but I never left my feeling unspoken. He was a rough, tough big man...he drove backhoes and bulldozers for a living. But we were closer than brothers. We even spent a year on the road doing truck deliveries together across the country. Now I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Friends are better than riches because your friends will take you in even if you're broke and bail you out of jail if need be! (laughing)
