Lovely!
reminds me of the things that my mother and grandmother kept about the windowsills when I was little. I could imagine whole worlds around those things. In particular my mother had this little cottage, set on the windowsill in the hall. I believe it was supposed to look like one from Ireland. There was a thatch roof on it and a little stone wall bordering the hill of a yard that it was set upon. I would stick my pinky finger through the gate into the yard and instantly become a part of that wee cottage scene. The life and the farm animals, I think I had to create, but sure, weren't the fairies there? There were crystals and elephants and tiny tea sets and silver figures and victorian shoe pincushions and other little houses. That is what this poem reminded me of!
A really charming little piece! Great job!!!

No problem!
Great job writing! Thanks for making me think of those things.
It is a gift to have imagination! Sometimes it can even become a reality (in a sense)... I could relate to this. I used to imagine dancing with the music box dancer when I was young. I wish I still could. Well, who knows?
Thank you for the wink.
Be well.
whoa! this somehow reminded me of the statue of liberty, but this was a fun poem to read. I like yours, because there short but also paint a picture in your head. Like a glimpse of a bigger picture.
I am 14-years-old. I find inspiration all over the place: memories, ideas, things I notice. I like believing in things that others find impossible. I think that's the way I hope for a better future. .. more..
