Despair

Despair

A Poem by Phillitup
"

For all of those who don't know where to turn, and those who have watched someone do so.

"
"Despair"

Lonely
Lost
Scared
Worried
Sadness
Depression
Dry tundra
Desperate
For everything
anything

oh! makes sense! ok!
I love everything... except for the "dry tundra" part. I don't really get the connection. Otherwise, the emotions of despair are fluently expressed with minimalism. Love it!

thank you
Quick and two the point. I admire this style very much. Its alot harder to express something complex with a limited amount of words. Great job buddy!

Quite a few ways to describe despair, i especially like the metaphorical "dry tundra", it signifies distance and the cold and that adds a new dimension to this poem...great write!!

I like it, but I think you could do more with it.
Show more emotion behind your words.

I was gonna say it's short and sweet but sweet would obviously be a misnomer in light of the subject matter...it certainly makes its point loud and clear with a minimum of words, and "Dry tundra" marks a sudden shift from descriptive to figurative, making it almost symbolic of a person in despair, who is in the process of withdrawal from others...I hope that makes sense lol :P
