Waxing, waning an often replaced moon scents of variety holders change a light for the future what was a glow in the past there on the table sits a candle
This is great. I appreciate your capacity to use words that evoke the subject of the poem - waxing, waning, moon, scents, holders, glow - 6 words in 30 - a 20% density of "candle." But then there's also change - often, variety, change, future, past - 5 words in 30 - a 17% density of "change." You have terrific economy of words and precision of placement for maximum meaning.
This is great! It made me think of the candles that were the main source of light indoors in the past and are the only thing supporting us if technology fails now!

Glad you can connect. I like to think of a candle as more of a future light, though.

I am 14-years-old. I find inspiration all over the place: memories, ideas, things I notice. I like believing in things that others find impossible. I think that's the way I hope for a better future. .. more..
