Fully Alive

This is a poem about Abuse in relationships and after effects of it, this poem was inspired by the band Flyleaf...Also this is something that has happened to me.

 Fully Alive

Telling her story spoken

About how all her bones are broken.

Hammers fall on all the pieces-

Two months in the cover creases.

Fully Alive, more than most,

Ready to smile and love life

Fully Alive, and I know,

To believe in what the future holds

All there complaints shrink to nothing.

They are all ashamed of my somethings 

I'm glad of one day of comfort-

Only because I have suffered

I'm fully alive, and this is my opinion of abuse,

From past experiences

The saddest people smile the brightest-

The most damaged people are the wisest

 All because we don't wish anyone else,

To suffer the way we do.
