It isn't me

It isn't me

A Poem by Delilah

You're the poison I take each night, that bottle on my nightstand,
Keeping me up I take it religiously,
A strange cult that I have suddenly become a part of
It's your eyes i worship, you mouth I want all over me
A one word text is all I want, it;s all I need
just a word to tell me you're still there
but you're with her now, a prettier model, you upgraded
I would bend over backwards just to see you
to continue being that dark little secret
I know it's wrong, I know it's sick
So each night I take a sip and descend deeper into madness
over you, over myself, over never being enough for anyone

Whoa, this is powerful writing and the need felt here is astounding.

Thanks for the share
