Dark Night

Clutching my pillow tight,

Bed feels so lonely.

I cried tonight.

Will cry again tomorrow night.

If only...

My lover would return.

Sadness pervades.

My poem is intentionally abrupt, just as the loss of what was once considered a lasting love. It abruptly comes and abruptly goes without a trace --- much like a vapor.
