loving a model

loving a model

A Poem by dele

I saw her and she called to me,
In an ancient antique store,
She stood out, amongst the rest,
And from all I’d seen before.
Her caramel complexion,
Shone off her wet brown eyes,
Her loose long curls, hung past her shoulders,
& entangled in my mind.
“I know how much you love her..”
As if my mind He’d read,
“I’ve seen that look a thousand times,
but a word2the wise”, He said;
“Even if she tried to love you,
fact is, she never could,
for the only heart she’ll ever have,
is made from strings and wood”.

Fabulous! I am favoriting this, without a doubt I will.
I can't begin to say how refreshing this is. . .
It's unique. . .
Another excellent piece from you. . .
