wings

wings

A Poem by dele

I was a fool to think you’d be happy when I threw u up in the air when all the time I should have just given you wings#

An affinity for time gone and of which you were never part of, but you feel you .should. have been. And a longing to ‘return’ to this time amidst a UFO culture to which you belong, but only in body.  You only carry on because you can see your street in your dreams and when you wake you taste what used to be yours, but its so far away that you need to start

now

so each letter brings you closer to home, and each song helps spend less time alone, even though the road ahead’s ever-long.  you don’t love to walk, but you hate the road you’re on.

Death doesn’t scare us.

Because even if we don’t get home, at least we wont be here.
