Israel’s Gift of Slow Death in Gaza

Israel’s Gift of Slow Death in Gaza

A Poem by delapruch

Israel’s government says that Rachel Corrie’s

2003 death in Gaza, was not the fault of the

military whose army bulldozer rolled over her,

stating that it was “an accident she brought

upon herself” & so, was the Palestinian family

who had been living in the home which young

Rachel was standing in front of, put there by

accident?

have the Palestinian people who live in Gaza

been doing so by accident?

the UN declares this week that by 2020,

Gaza (just a bit larger than twice

the size of Washington, DC) will be

unlivable due to the Israeli/US military

blockade & occupation (um, so where will

the people go?) which continues to

starve its people of safe drinking water,

sufficient electricity, good schools/education,

hospitals & decent homes (UM, SO WHERE
WILL THE PEOPLE GO?), to name a few,

with 80% of its people relying on foreign aid

for basic necessities, finding employment

largely in the underground market UMMMM

MMMM SOOOOOO WHERRRRREE WILL
LLL THHHEEE PPPPEEOOPPLEE GOOOO

OOO?!!!!!!) & Israel turns a blind eye, Israel

pretends that this starvation & strangulation

is not illegal & OUR TAXES PAY FOR IT,

yes, our taxes in the belly of the declining

beast ARE PAYING FOR THE

SLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWW
BUUUUUURRRNNNINNNG
GENOCIDE

of the Palestinian people---

it’s not apartheid, it’s not negotiation, it’s not

treaties or an accord or a ceasefire of any kind,

it’s OUR TAXES PAYING FOR THE
SLOW GENOCIDE OF THE PALESTINIAN

PEOPLE (& if you try to stop it you end up

dead like Rachel).

A VOTE FOR OBAMA = SLOW GENOCIDE

OF PALESTINE.

A VOTE FOR ROMNEY = SLOW GENOCIDE
OF PALESTINE.
