You are the only one

A fun little poem written to someone that I thought was my soul mate, unfortunately things didn't work out between us.

Nobody has ever meant so much
to me as you do,

How I yearn to feel your touch,
your hugs and kisses, too.

You are the only person who
makes my life complete,

The only thing that matters to
us is our love that no one can beat.

I had someone in my life that reminded me very much of how you described in this poem. Sometimes I still feel that way to this day for that person, even though I know I will never be able to have that person again.
