If i could do it over i would... ( I did)

 "I met this boy…

He was forgiving & compassionate.

With eyes as blue as ice; that I swore would freeze anyone’s soul if they stared at them for too long. 

He was adventurous and curious, with a love for comic books and eccentric types of food.

He spoke of all the places he wanted to visit before he grew old & gray and of all the unique people he wanted to meet someday. 

This boy was someone who could show me the world. 

Someone I could spend hours with roaming through farmers markets picking out fresh produce that we could take home and turn into something delicious.  

Someone who would take me on dates to the aquarium or to an art museum, where I could ramble on and get lost trying to explain to him why I wished I too was a painting or a multicolored fish.   

This boy could’ve showed me a world I could live in, but you see I let this boy slip through my boney fragile fingers. 

I let my past and fear of loving someone so perfect get in my way. 

I met this boy once and well he was perfect and if I could do it over again I wouldn’t let him get away."
