Home out of youA Poem by TheGrimm_SleeperYou can't let your fear of love get in the way of what's met to be...I
promised myself I wouldn’t make a home out of you…. Not because you were built different or because
someone else had shattered your windows in the past but because every home I’d
lived in fell like a house of cards, fragile and made of paper. So when we met I assured myself I wouldn’t make a home
out of you… that I would only stay for the time I was allowed. But with your arms around me like resilient walls and
your heart as warm as a blazing fireplace I have never felt more safe and
protected then when I’m with you. So I packed my bags and left the rest behind… I
promised myself I’d make an honest and loving home out of you. © 2017 TheGrimm_SleeperAuthor's Note
