                                               The pains of someone else

The worst kind of hurt

The most painful

The longest lasting

The most evil

Just the worst possible hurt imaginable,

Is something I get from hurting others.

To damage someone elses life,

It hurts me more than anything else.

Surface wounds will heal.

Even pains of the heart will dull.

But the pains of someone else

Eviscerates me

The thought that…

I myself was the cause of tears

The cause of hate or resentment

Distrust

And many more

The idea that I made someone else’s life misery for three hours.

Three hours of constant tears.

That thought…

That’s the scariest thing imaginable

And yet, it was a reality

And I am wallowing,

In the pains of someone else.

I made a mistake in a relationship and hurt her, which hurt me far more than Id like to admit

I love this. It explains me so well! I constantly get asked why i don't eat animal products and this is always my answer. This is my totally different take on why it was written. But that's what is so great about it! You can take this many ways. Love it!
